FOCUSED COACHING FOR ONE SPECIFIC AREA OF YOUR GAME

IN PERSON GOLF LESSONS WITH STEVE THOMAS GOLF

Best for returning clients or golfers wanting help with a specific swing, short-game, putting or ball-flight issue.

Individual Golf Lessons

Every lesson is tailored to your game, focusing on the areas that will have the greatest impact on your performance. We’ll review your goals, assess your swing and ball flight, identify your main technical priority, and provide clear, practical coaching to help you improve.

Where appropriate, TrackMan and video analysis are used to support your learning. You’ll also receive personalised drills, lesson notes, a structured practice plan, and clear recommendations for your next steps, so you know exactly what to work on between sessions.

On-Course Golf Lessons

Take your coaching onto the golf course and learn how to make better decisions where it matters most. Your round will be assessed in real playing conditions, focusing on course management, shot selection, club choice, and building confidence under pressure.

Throughout the session, you’ll receive practical coaching tailored to each situation, along with technical guidance where needed. After the round, you’ll receive personalised feedback, identify the habits that are costing you shots, and leave with clear priorities to improve your scoring on the course.

GOLF COACHING TECHNOLOGY

Trackman 4 & Trackman IO

TrackMan technology sits at the heart of every indoor coaching session, with both the TrackMan 4 and TrackMan iO providing industry leading accuracy trusted by many of the world’s top players, coaches and club fitters. Using advanced dual Doppler radar and high speed camera technology, every shot is analysed in exceptional detail, measuring key data such as ball speed, launch angle, spin, club path, face angle and strike quality. This removes the guesswork from coaching, allowing every recommendation to be backed by precise, measurable information.

Whether you’re looking to improve consistency, increase distance or simply better understand your golf swing, TrackMan provides instant feedback that accelerates learning and makes practice far more effective. By identifying exactly what is influencing your ball flight, Steve can focus on the changes that will have the greatest impact on your game, while tracking your progress over time to ensure improvements transfer confidently from the studio to the golf course.

3D Swing Assessment – TM3D & HackMotion 3D

TM3D and HackMotion combine advanced 3D motion capture with precise wrist analysis to provide a detailed view of the golf swing. By measuring body movement, rotation and wrist mechanics throughout the swing, the technology delivers accurate, objective data that cannot be seen through traditional video analysis alone.

Used by coaches to gain a deeper understanding of swing mechanics, TM3D and HackMotion help identify movement patterns, improve efficiency and support more informed coaching decisions. The result is a clearer picture of how the body and club work together, creating a more accurate and effective approach to swing analysis.

High Speed Video Analysis

High speed video analysis captures every stage of the golf swing in exceptional detail, allowing movements that happen in just milliseconds to be viewed clearly. Recorded from multiple angles, it provides a precise visual breakdown of swing mechanics, making it easier to understand key positions, sequencing and impact.

When combined with launch monitor data and other coaching technology, high speed video offers a complete picture of how the swing is performing. It provides clear visual evidence to support technical analysis, helping coaches accurately assess movement patterns and make more informed coaching decisions.

CoachNow E-Journal

CoachNow E Journal is a professional coaching platform that keeps all lesson notes, swing videos, analysis and progress in one secure place. It allows coaches to record feedback, compare swings over time and create a complete history of a player’s development, making it easy to review previous sessions and monitor long term improvement.

Designed to support ongoing coaching, CoachNow provides a structured way to store personalised coaching information, practice plans and video analysis. This creates a central coaching hub where progress can be tracked over time, helping to build a clear picture of development between lessons.

GOLF PREFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

Recommended for new clients, the Golf Performance Assessment is a comprehensive starting point designed to build a complete picture of your game and identify the areas that will have the greatest impact on your improvement. Combining industry leading technology with expert coaching, the session provides clear, objective feedback and a structured roadmap tailored to your goals.

During the assessment, you’ll complete a pre session questionnaire before reviewing your current performance, goals and playing history. Your swing, strike patterns and ball flight will be analysed using TrackMan technology and high speed video, alongside any relevant movement or skills testing.
