Details
- Pace or tape the marks — close enough is fine.
If you are using a launch monitor or radar
- No technology scores this game. A putting monitor can report start line and speed if you have one, but the card records only holed or missed.
Retesting
- Warm up first — ten to fifteen balls with the club you will use. Same set-up, same ball, same conditions every retest. One run is a snapshot; two or three averaged is a standard.
Benchmark
- The benchmark is your make rate across all eighteen, against a row derived from the reference data: the average of its confirmed 3-to-6-foot and 6-to-9-foot rows. It is a derived figure, and the card says so. The rung split is the rest of the picture — where the make rate falls away between three feet and nine.
Equipment
- Putter · a ball · nine marks at 3, 6 and 9 feet · a hole on a gentle slope. No specialist technology is required.
